The students were given four documents to analyze and determine if their region would be a good choice to start a new community as an early settler.

While reviewing science tools, we had a couple questions! Do some research and let us know the answers!

1. We know a barameter tells us the atmospheric pressure, but what does it really do? How does it help us?

2. We discussed how wind socks tell us the direction the wind is blowing, but why is one on the Allen hospital?

3. We understand that magnets have different poles, but why? Why can you sometimes feel the resistance between two magnets? What causes the resistance?
